The brand has captured the nation’s attention through its fun and exciting products and also an extremely compelling back story of how the company started out and has since become one of the fastest growing businesses in 2024. You may have seen this brand on LinkedIn, Tik Tok and Instagram due to their strong online presence. The company has worked with famous footballers and celebrities such as Chunkz and Molly Mae. The company have also won multiple awards recently acknowledging both the products and the founder’s entrepreneurship. The company is growing rapidly and has an increased customer base which is why they are looking for a motivated Head of Data & Ecommerce. Role: Our client is looking for an incredibly motivated and energetic Head of Data & Ecommerce who will help elevate the website whilst working ross functionally with developers and designers whilst overseeing the engineering team. As the Head of Data & Ecommerce you will be at the forefront of driving product innovation and data-driven decision-making. This role is good for someone who is data-led, structured and has a passion for analysis and problem solving. This role is great for those looking for exposure working with a founder who has grown a business rapidly. Key Responsibilities: • Take lead of CRO strategy and transition the management of CRO from agency to inhouse making sure it is aligned with company goals. • Refine the companies CRO and A/B testing framework ensuring that it is scalable, data-driven and aligned with key business objectives. • Work directly with the founder to develop and execute a technical roadmap to align with objectives. • Work cross-functionally with developers, designers and finance lead on product and data tasks to align product objectives and data reporting with financial priorities. • Lead data-driven product decisions by regularly reviewing and analysing customer data to uncover insights and inform product iterations ensuring that the product team align with customer needs. • Take full ownership of company’s data deeply understanding how it drives business decisions and identifying opportunities for improvements. • Assess existing data collections methods and determine if new data points need to be tracked. Define what data should be collected, ensuring it is relevant, actionable, and aligned with business needs. • Lead and manage the engineering team, ensuring effective sprint planning and prioritisation. Mitigate key person risk within the engineering team. Train, coach & motivate your team to ensure continuous growth and foster a performance-driven culture with an emphasis on self-ownership. • Continuously gather insights from the DTC sector to understand best practices, utilising this knowledge to enhance strategies and decision-making. • Implement and monitor established KPIs and performance expectations set by senior management. You will be responsible for ensuring your team hits their metrics. What our client would like to see (essential): • At least 1-2 years of experience managing a product, data or ecommerce team. • Ability to onboard and train new members of the team. • Experience in a previous D2C Ecommerce business. • Experience in a fast-growing scaleup working at a fast pace. • Experience in setting and maintaining KPI’s and consistently driving team to exceed productivity and quality standards. • Strong experience in data-driven and data-focused roles. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
